Palucraft is an accredited skills development provider that specialises in developing and delivering skills programmes to employees in the mining, manufacturing, and construction industries. We help employees improve their skills and be more impactful through relevant certifications, qualifications, and continuous professional development short courses. We also provide support services that assist employers in meeting their organization's engineering, OHS, and quality objectives.

Our Story

Palucraft (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2014 by Nkululeko Thusini, a mechanical engineering and master's in engineering management graduate from the University of Johannesburg.

As a graduate mechanical engineer, Nkululeko was frustrated by the lack of mentorship and fragmented information on engineering career paths. To address this problem, he started blogging about his design and plant engineering experience to assist upcoming graduates in navigating the engineering industry without experiencing the common frustration.

The GCC Factories was one of the career paths that was difficult to navigate. To this end, he started capturing his GCC Factories journey and developing application templates and exam preparation material. The blog page quickly grew and later became the first Palucraft website.

Today, Palucraft GCC Study is the leading GCC Factories brand in South Africa, helping hundreds of applicants and candidates obtain the GCC Factories. Palucraft GCC Study offers simplified information on applying and preparing for the GCC Factories. We later became the only accredited GCC Factories Exam Preparation Programme in South Africa.

Since 2018, we have evolved to address the challenges of succeeding after obtaining the GCC Factories. We developed the 'Understanding and Fulfilling the Role of the GMR 2.1' short course and obtained various engineering studies, safety, health, environment, and quality accreditations.

Today, we have developed various education and training brands dedicated to specific career paths such as the GCC Mines, Engineering Studies, Wireman's License, Construction Manager, and SHEQ practitioner.

We have since become an accredited skills development provider with the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO), Department of Higher Education (DHET), and Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
